Upcoming Events

Family Picnic Nights - Thursday evenings, July 9 - August 20. (Members and Guests) Join us by the grill for family picnic nights throughout the summer season. Tables will be set up and the grill will be hot and ready to go around 6:00 pm. Bring your family, picnic dinner, and have a great evening at the Club.

Dances. (Open to the Public) By popular demand, the Club will host three dances this summer. Watch the website and noticeboard for additional details!

August 8, 7:00-10:30 pm - One more chance to dance all night with live music from The Vendors, featuring Chris Heard. If you’re able to help out please contact Eli Glynn at (828) 244-8398, or elig0813@gmail.com. Admission $10 per person.

Fundraising Supper - Saturday, August 1. (Open to the Public)Come out for a great meal and wonderful company in support of continued maintenance of the clubhouse and member programming. Parker Peltzer will coordinate this supper in memory of Shelley Reed. Keep your eye out for volunteer requests to make this event a success again this year.

Annual Meeting - Saturday, August 22. (Members only)The Club’s annual business meeting will be preceded by a social hour and potluck dinner beginning at 5:30 pm. Business will commence at 7:00 pm. A quorum of the membership is required for voting at this meeting, so please mark your calendars!

Club Closing Day - Saturday, October 10. All good things must come to an end…until next season. Docks will be removed and the clubhouse will be closed up for winter. If you are able to help, please arrive at 8:00 am. We request that kayaks, canoes, and other personal property stored by the Clubhouse be removed prior to this date. More information will be provided at the annual meeting and on the website.
